Bonjour from Cannes! Internet has been scarce since I've gotten here...hopefully that will change for the better once I get to Paris in a week and a half. London was nice, especially since my bro and his fiancee were in London too! That was a lot of fun...it is basically like NYC exept they drive on the wrong side of the road. It was gray and rainy there both days, which I expected. A little chilly at night, but the cimate was similar to the Cape.

My time on the net is limited right now, so I will move on to Cannes. The school here is like a beach resort. It sits 100 feet from an amazing beach. The water is warm, and turqoise, and I've gone swimming everyday thus far. The weather is perfect. The city of Cannes is gorgeous, and very hip. Today, as I sat on the beach looking into the teal colored bay, a movie was being filmed with helicopters swooping down low over a massive yacht, landing, going fast up and down, with about 3 other helos hovering getting the footage I'm guessing. Maybe the next 007 movie? Look for me in the beach in the background. There are red rock mountains surrounding the coast. On friday I am going scuba diving, and getting certified through the college here. Only five kids could do it, so I'm looking forward to seeing the Med from under the surface. I will stay away from the sting rays though! On Saturday, we are going to Monaco for the day, and then on to a small french town called Eze. I hear it is breathtaking there...I can't wait to see more of this country.

My french is improving ten-fold every day. I speak all the time, to everyone, and contrary to what I expected, they speak it back to me. Class is good, luckily I placed into the highest level here so I'm not wasting any time. The meals here are intense. It is a small cafeteria, and all the places are set when you walk in. Every table has baguettes and olive oil out for each person. They bring the 2 course meal out to you, and follow it up with a different dessert every time.
